Lightbulb [RELEASE] Real Server Time Function via NPC

Hello everyone,

I’m excited to share a new function I’ve been working on: Real Server Time, now accessible directly through an NPC in‑game. 🎮⏰

This feature allows players to check the actual real‑world time without leaving the game. It’s especially useful for those of us who struggle with different GMT zones when planning events, raids, or daily resets.

Here The Example

👉 About the Script
This function is powered by a script containing 3,000–4,000 lines of code, which took several weeks to complete. Compressing such a large script into a single NPC panel required careful consideration of many technical aspects. Because of this, encountering bugs or technical issues is completely normal. If you notice any errors, please point them out in the comments—I’ll do my best to fix and improve it further.

👉 Why I built this:
I personally found it difficult to keep track of time differences while gaming, so I wanted to make it easier for GMs and PMs to coordinate activities. Hopefully, this tool will help many of you manage schedules more smoothly.

🙏 Special Thanks
A huge thank‑you to MageWarrior and SoulNecturn for the guides they’ve shared. Their resources were very helpful in building this function. You can check out their guides below to learn more about server time functions:

- [MageWarrior’s Guide]

- [SoulNecturn’s Guide]

Please test it out, share your feedback, and let’s make this function even better together!

📝 Note
I’ve noticed some players are already using items I’ve released but haven’t pressed the Thanks button or replied to the thread. Honestly, I don’t mind—but giving feedback through a simple “Thanks” or a reply helps me see whether this forum is still active or not. Who knows, maybe next time I’ll release a special tool or a special event/quest for the classic server.

[RELEASE] New game function: npc.get_vid()
10/22/2012 - Metin2 PServer Guides & Strategies - 34 Replies
Hello, I think many of you know the d3m0n3's pet system. It uses the npc.get_level() function, which was written by me. Since some people asked me to modify that function in order to read more information about the character, I decided to write a new function that read and return the npc vid. In this way, using the pc.select() function, the character can be selected and all its information (level, name, pid, whatever you want) can be read. Obviously this can be applied only for players, not...
