I have been digging in files and i came across these 1655, they are complete with client but it is the updated client and its very hard, with that sad i have managed to get it working only issue i have found or problem i cant solve is allowing others to join. I have not tested anything in the files but it does have d fire and all the classes.
This is what i know so far:
(The only systems that does not work so far is Family Creation/War and OfflineTG, This is on the 1.6.5.5 Version)
Almost everything works the only thing i have found that doesnt work is family and family war.
(Don't just try to start server like the old school way, it will not work, please watch the video and follow instructions, very simple.)
If you cant get Mysql8 to work, go to google and download Mysql8.0.42 just download and install it (Make sure to uncheck start this service with boot at the end of the install) , then go back to your Mysql8 folder and run the program in the home folder of Mysql8 and it will start up Mysql8 for you!
I'm not a guide expert so i wont even try, but i did include the video that was included to teach you how to get the files working.
Change your Region in your settings to China!!!!!!

I was going to try and take a look but I am having trouble using the gmbuild tool, when I try to turn the accserver on through gmbuild it gives me:

which gpt says it cannot find a directory, I assume because its rendering some of the chinese characters as � but I'm not sure why because my region and all of that is set to chinese simplified. I will have to try again when I have some more time. One of the things I was going to try was to run the unpacked 1655 accserver and then use this msg and npc server and see if that works. Also, that p_gmbuild tool installs some synaptics driver and forces it to run on startup, I assume this is doing something nefarious so just keep that in mind. If I had to guess it's prob keylogging because that driver is for some kind of touchpad related stuff but not sure.

Your language settings are wrong and it cant read the db, press the start menu button and go to the search bar and type in Region and open that up, on the top there is 2 tabs click on administrative, at the bottom of this tab is Language for Non-Unicode Programs, change that to China (Simplified, Mainland China). This will fix that issue (:
To get Navicat to read the DB correctly go to navicat and right click on your connection and go to connection property's, next at the top click the tab that says Advanced, next uncheck (use MySQL characters), next click on encoding and change that to 936 - Simplified Chines, next click okie and now you can open the db and actually see the Chinese!
Go to 178my.com or my178.com and you can download other binaries versions of the 1655, they make it in many different binaries, this one is just the only one i know how to work and function, just look through the site, you can also get updated client files and the latest tools for the server from this site! (Some ISP Providers may block the website, use google to get around this problem)

(BUT gmbuild and p_gmbuild do carry repeater virus, what i notice is it opens it self over and over in the background just not all at once over time, there is a website in there to download the latest version i have found this helps a lot with this problem, plus its straight from the source)

Yeah, as I said, my region settings are all correct. It is set to Chinese simplified it is just not being read correctly and I'm not sure why but I will probably just wipe my vps and set it up again when I have time.
anyone else have to keep setting up the login tools every couple days? works for couple days then all of a sudden the client doesnt load from the launcher, the launcher just disappears for a fraction of a second then comes back and nothing, then you set up the login tools again and it works lol ?
edit: i actually have to delete the client and put new , so im guessing there is a file somewhere that also needs deleting for it to work again, ive noticed a dat file making itself with random number every time after you try to enter client from launcher, then it disappears after you exit launcher , but there is another file somewhere too

i thought about going the autopatcher route instead of logintools but im still working out how to go about that, because in the client its already set to http instead of ftp but still uses ftp to log in lol ? all i know about in the ini is the 178 ini file that also has something to do with the login tools but ill have a look ty

Sorry, but I didn't understand the difference between this 1655 and the other 1655 that is already available for download here at elitepvpers
The difference is in the DB and actions, his DB is the 1654 DB and claims there is no difference, but cq_action alone has over 1000 new actions that are not in 1654, the actions alone that are left out mess with certain things in the game it self, items, tons of new and different items and changes, but that's not all there is tons of other tables that don't match up, compare tables in the DB, you will see the changes.
the client also is different i had to switch completely from 1654 to 1655 files for everything to be more compatible, would not recommend using the 1654 db and client with the 1655 servers unless you want many errors/bugs
these files are great but ive noticed even with the master ips/server ips changed it stays on locahost, the client can be resolved can just just replace the oem that it used to replace , with my own so it replaces it with the right one, but the servers , have so many config files in and out of the folders , its hard to tell what they actually use except for the fact that the right folder name is at the top of the msg/npc servers , which is also been edited but still loads up as localhost , even with the serverip changed in account which for some files gives a wrong config error , doesnt error with these files just puts localhost lol.... besides all this translating i think this is gonna be a rough ride with these latest files lol
