[Release]DNP Extractor Open Source

First credits where they belong.

Credits to: for writing the .

The application is available in open source, so if people wish they can code it further to allow for packing files into a dnp file as well as extracting.

It works with the current EO client.

Directions of Use:
Place DNPExtractor.exe, Data.InputOutput.dll and DNPManager.dll in your EO client folder where your dnp files are located. (Examples are c3.dnp/data.dnp/paladin1.dnp/paladin2.dnp/paladin3.dnp/paladin5.dnp)

Open DNPExtractor.exe.

Place file name and locations for files you wish to extract from the DNP files.

The easiest method is to copy straight from the ini file and paste in the text box.

Here is an example of what can be pasted in the text box and it will extract all files found in the dnp file:

Update:
Created a more interactive DNPExtractor, this (XNADNPExtractor) requires XNA 4.0 to be installed on your computer for it to function.
It features a more comprehensive extraction selection, you can load EO ini files, use the raw text like previous version or you can put in individual file names.
Another feature is the capability to pack new files into existing DNP files.
The DNP Extractor now will automatically find any .dnp file in its directory.
You can also view all of the DDS images found within any dnp file by clicking on the image id within the dnp file on the view tab.

Update:
Created a console application FolderPacker.exe. This just requires .Net no XNA required. This simple application will pack the entire contents of a folder and its sub folders into a DNP file.

Example of use is:
Extract [b]FolderPackerApplication.rar[b] in c3 folder.
Edit the PackageConfig.ini to include any files you don't want to include in the packing. Defaults included are the binary files themselves.
Run the application.
You will get a screen saying Packing XAmount of files into c3.dnp...
Once the application has finished packing you will then see:
Finished
Press any key to close...

Close the application and you will find your newly packed dnp file.
Be sure to add the package to your client's folder, and add it to the ini\package.ini
Enjoy!

It's only saying that about the most recent action. I will re-code this to display a more descriptive result by the end.

currently this doesnt support it, not sure in funhacker is looking to publicly release something that does it or not.

however i know anyone is free to edit the source and add a method to rebuild a DNP with the changes

Yes as you see this is now open source. Meaning NO one can make money using this code in ANY way. It's a 100% free. All I ask is you give credits to those that deserve it! Reason for me being so nice is people (mostly Hio77) are actually doing something and willing to share! So I am now giving out the ByteMap Encryption keys and even the source code to my pathfinder app I made. Be aware I coded this a long time ago and rushed it. I know it's not perfect. I will be updating it later on for...
