SQL Query and C++ Coding Help Needed for Elsword Server (2014 source code)

I just got my hands on the 2014 source code, but I heard somewhere that it's very broken. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but I have all of the files for it, but not entirely sure where to start. Would anyone happen to know how to work with SQL Queries and C++ coding. I can even provide all of the files.
