Elrios Rift - Elsword Private Server

The dedication and attention that these guys from Elrios Rift have to people in Discord is amazing. They speak openly and directly to the users about improvements in the game, always taking into consideration suggestions that have high approval among users. I can't wait for the update on the 17th with the MEGA buff in random quest EXP. BEST PRIVATE SERVER EVER!

they say I have Cascade#0001 in my friend list but I dont have him added and they think i am helping too with the megaphone spammer

Relatively soon, we're aiming for a summer release. We're on track to provide big official content updates every 3~4 months roughly. The next release will bring all 4th paths (including Morpheus), as well as give players free character slot expansion cards and 4x job change tickets (one per class). You can make your Elesis right now and switch to the 4th path once its out for free!

If you haven't played in a while, I'd strongly recommend checking out the 5/26 patch coming later this week which brings out a lot of QoL to pour life into PvP (new rewards, permanent 2x AP), Ereda (stripped MMR, restricted premade system, rewards) and daily gameplay incentives such as a permanent rotational mini event system that cycles through different events per day such as 100% random missions or free/open SDs all day, etc.
As well as some significant changes to assist with El Search Party Collection, a permanent weekly level jump and a new feature relating to small guild expeditions (support for alts).

We're also actively gathering feedback on our Discord in the form of #suggestions (majority of quality of life development is player driven), as well as currently there is a thread for collecting feedback from active players and non-active players alike in the #questions section.
We are interested in building out further features to better accommodate official server players as well, who are interested but still hesitant, so all feedback is very much welcome!

I used to play this server but quit because in the end it's still the same game with a lot of progression issues. The staff thinks that small changes will be enough, they don't know for example how bad the resonance is for some classes that need high levels of resonance, the amount of excessive farming hours that have to be put into the game even if Rift makes it easy for you to get certain stuff in events, it's not fun at all, in the end it feels like a job and not a game that's supposed to be fun.

It depends on how long ago you last played, but if you haven't checked us out in a while, this may be of interest:
Also to see overall changes (except for last week's update): is a good starting point

In that ERP EXP update, we added additional EXP bonuses on top of our improved EXP rates that provide a higher boost for lower ERP levels as a way to catch up faster. Also, it is very common that we give out EXP elixirs / accessories in events and there are also EXP medals and ERP potions at the Mysterious Merchant.
Additionally, we have a new daily event system which rolls out all day 100% random mission events several times a month and players usually tend to save their consumables / accessories for them.
After these changes the number of players hitting 300+ ERP spiked by quite a lot. We have only been open for less than half a year and the highest ERP player on the server is already 573.

And as always, if you don't like something about the game, the best place to go is #suggestions on our Discord which is where the majority of content ideas and inspirations come from!

You guys should revamp the ERP tree or the whole system because is not healthy to spam the same dungeon for hours to get s few levels.

Elsword is the only game in its genre with excessive and unnecessary grinding (ERP).

I'm here again because of concerns about the security of Elrios Rift accounts.

Recently, a friend had his Gmail account hacked from which he was unable to recover. Rift's staff was unable to assist him in the email exchange process due to server policies preventing email exchange. This doesn't make sense, as one of the main flags of Rift that staff feel too secure about is security, yet these very actions by staff make server accounts insecure. What would happen if the hacker had played Elsword? Right now, my friend may get his Elrios Rift account hacked because the hacker still has possession of the gmail, but he was lucky that the hacker doesn't play Elsword, nor does he know it.

Why doesn't Elrios Rift allow the exchange of emails?
Does Elrios Rift not allow change of emails to prevent account trades? Rest assured that the accounts will continue to be sold with or without a mail change.
Is it for the safety of the players? This is contradictory, due to the case I mentioned above.

How could it be fixed? Making an automatic email change system, in which the user can request a email change without having to send a ticket, the system will give the user 15 days to cancel the email change, or simply let the 15 days for the email change to take effect, this will prevent account theft since the original owner of the account will know if an email change is in process.

Also, the same can be done for the Discord account link change of Elrios Rift Discord server.

The email providers we support for registration have more than adequate measures of security and recovery of accounts (phone, alternative emails, etc). It's very rare that you would completely lose a gmail more than temporarily.
Meanwhile a small number of players fall for scams such as fake private servers or hacks embedded with malware, which usually ends up getting their email temporarily taken over and they try to access their game account / Discord. As you can imagine, if you allow them to change their email, that short span of email takeover alone would allow them to hijack your account permanently with no way of restoring it (because it's no longer your email).

FWIW, this happens very rarely if the user has any awareness at all. Most of the account hacking attempts are just credential reuse and they fail due to our password policies and/or enforced PIN system. Even then, as most things are account bound and they can't change your email forcefully, they usually just end up using the Discord account to spam in disappointment and get banned in a minute.

Now that I think about it, the players who requested such a feature were usually the hackers themselves in support after they took over a couple of accounts.
