Hello. So I tried to replace the korean eventscene files( which are the story quest dialogue thingies that come up when you finish most the quests and shows a little backstory) aaaaand it had no result. I got the files from someone who is playing Elsword Japan and replaced them on Elsword NA data folder, started the game, I noticed it was still in korean.
What is strange, is that the game is not replacing the files when patching, so I guess the eventscene folder is not even used in the game.
My question is, is there a way to change the scenes to be in japanese? I tried everything, my only conclusion is:
- The eventscene folder is only for the actual scenes but not for the voices
- The voices must be in a .kom but I don't know which one.
I talked to Kurisutaru ( I think you know him ) and he told me his dialogue scenes ARE in japanese, they problem is, 167-179 kom files are BLANK for him. He sent me this picture.
I asked him to record a quest scene and send me the file to prove it, I will upload it to youtube and post a link here. Or if its taking too long, I started to download Elsword JP and using a VPN to play it, I'll post it here myself.
Just tested, the cutscenes are muted, guess Kuri wasn't right XD So I guess we should wait for them to add voices to these.
