alright, this is ridiculous, i know for a fact that vmware works, cuz ive used it on other games...
im on windows vista x64 and on my vmware im running xp, for less memory usage...

i know for a fact my computer is more than capable of holding open the game in vmware lag free, only problem its lagging like a ******* *****, like it does on my lappy...

6 GB ram
AMD Phenom Quad Core processor 2.20 GHz
600GB hard drive

and im running 768 memory on my VMware and 12 GB of hard drive... and it lags like a fuckk

you've failed to mention your video card. Not saying it's bad but when playing a game I can see how it can lag. Also it depends on what hardware you're emulating, but the default should work fine, so it's probably your video card.

How many RAM you give VMware to work with?

I used a ripped windows xp thats maybe why'd it crashed after startup....
