[Tutorial] Fix the CRC of changed files

First of all, i havent tried this on the Dragonica files, but it worked in other games that are protected by GameGuard and HackShield Pro.

Again a trial on how to fix the CRC checksum of changed pe-files (exe & dll), as mentioned above, i havent tried it on Dragonica files but it should work.

What you need:

PEiD v0.95 ->
CRC32 Plugin by Gelios ->
Changed files ^^

Step-by-Step:

Unpack PEiD v0.95 anywhere on your Computer (e.g. Desktop)
Unpack the CRC32 Plugin into the Plugin Folder of PEiD
Start PEiD, click Options and make sure they are as folows:
Click Save and restart PEiD
Now open the ORIGINAL and UNCHANGED file in PEiD and click the Button named "->" (lower right corner of PEiD) choose Plugins->CRC32 and click it
Now you will see a window like this:
Copy the CRC32 value and close the Plugin window
Now open up the CHANGED file in PEiD and open the CRC32 Plugin window again
Now paste the CRC32 value from the original file into the "New CRC" field and click "Fix it!"
Now close the Plugin window and PEiD

é voila there you go the CRC is fixed and your changed file should work

Oh sry its a typing mistake ^^ it has to be "Now paste the CRC32 value from the original file into the "New CRC" field and click "Fix it!"" I updated the first post ^^

GameGuard checks the game files and his own files with a CRC checksum, with this you can fix the checksum of changed files. Its needed for gPotato ^^

does it work for gpotato? how i understand, with this program we can change crc of file..but in dragonica hack start with game, and then sum changes...i thought that dragonicahack change crc of process..isnt it?
or i dont understand something..

this was thought for gPotato and yes you can change the crc of a file with this easily to the working crc

..and wich file i need to patch in dragonica? dll hack ingect when dragonica starts...gameguard check crc of process isnt it?

unpack the dragonica.exe, modify it and fix the crc checksum
as i already said, this is for advanced users, even tho this tutorial is really easy ^^
