HOW Theses Working
Step 1: Download
Step 2: Have the original Diablo 3.exe file in the folder.
Step 3: Extract the file Release.rar
Step 4: Start the file called “D3Sharp.exe”
Step 5: Create a shortcut for Diablo III by locating Diablo III.exe in your D3 installation directory (usually C:\Program Files\Diablo III), right clicking, and pressing Create Shortcut.
Right click the new shortcut and open the properties. You will see the target as: \Diablo III Beta\Diablo III.exe. All that needs to be added is -launch -auroraaddress localhost:1345.
e.g. Target: “\Diablo III.exe” -launch -auroraaddress localhost:1345
Step 6: Input any user name with @ at the end. Example: Username:
and Password: www
Step 7: It should log you in and you should be able to create the character and join the game.

Check the Maps folder and load by editing config.ini
Map Instructions
Load different maps from
config.ini
Replace line -
Assets/Maps/001.txt
with another map file name from Maps Folder

Required files/programs:
Step-by-step guide
1 ) Go to your
Diablo 3 folder
2 ) Copy the
Diablo III.exe and make a shortcut
3 ) Right click and choose
properties
4 ) In the end of location add the following line (after quotes):
It should look something like this now:
(depends on the location of your installation, could be on different hard drive in a different folder
5 ) If you didn't already download the sources, go to
6 ) Press "Downloads" and download the sources in a zip-archive
7 ) Extract the files from the zip
8 ) Follow this guide to compile the server:
9) If you already didn't download and install Visual Studio C# Express, do it now:
10 ) Got to the
source folder and D3Sharp.sln with Visual Studio
11 ) In Visual Studio: on top Menu navigation bar press the drop down [Debug -> Build solution]. Or hit F6 on your keyboard.
12 ) Copy the config.ini and 'assets' folder from the sources to the same folder with the exe
13 ) Run D3Sharp.exe
14 ) Start Diablo 3 from the shortcut your previously made
15 ) Login with any account credentials of your choice. For example:

I found this thread @ incgamer.com
It is saying that there are ppl working on diablo 3 emulation and it has an irc channel that you can connect and check the progress ;D
