Is it possible to fix speed hack???

I'm trying out the hacks again and as you all know speed hack doesn't work anymore. U get teleported back to ur original location

does anyone know how this happens
I want to figure out if I can fix this
does it have something to do with the server teleporting you back or something?

HOW EVER IN THE WORLD CAN WE BYPASS THIS???...

it has to do with the server responding to knowing you are in fact in this spot

yeah wb draco btw, but yeah it seem server sided. i think serv records ur coord n wont let u 'jump'. right now only using skill at ur destination work, other den dat.... nah i dont think u can make a script to stay at ur spot, n bypassing dat word prob involve hacking into the serv's brain or something.

From what I can tell (I've been out of hacking for a while as well...wb Drako ^^) the server knows where you can go and what you can do from your current position. You cannot go from 135:15 to 0:0 instantly. Therefore, it knows you have to still be at 135:15

The only way to counter this that I know of is to use a skill at your new location. The server is then told that you have cast a skill at 0:0 which means you must be at that location.

So if you want to bypass this, we need to figure out how to eliminate the server logic...



MERGE THAT EPIC FAIL DOUBLE POST::

my guess is that if you were good at packet editing, it would be fairly simple. Just send a packet every second with your coods...but i'm not good with packets at all, so I don't know if that will work ot not =/

@How it works.
If I'm correct : It makes your character notice a point on the map every time you stop moving. This makes your character stay there on your screen. Server-side however, not so much.

That "should" be the AoB.



@Dracos script.

Wouldn't this just put you there and keep you there on your screen? Even while only using a normal speed buff while in game, if you lag a ''tiny'' bit you get moved back. The script looks great : no offense meant at all, but it seems like this wouldn't completely bypass it. I'ma go test this real quick.

edit : I was right. After you turn off the hack if you move you still return to your original location. But it is a nifty bypass.

For those who want it without having to update.

1. Go to your cheat engine that is active for 2moons.
2. Press Ctrl + Alt + A
3. Enter in this code.

Edit: The script seems to have some downfalls however. You can't talk to NPCs because your character is too "far away" and your pet doesn't follow you. Also once you take the script off, you get teleported back to where you last used a skill. Even with these tiny tiny problems, it's still a very useful script that I will use quite often. Thanks draco :]

If you want to talk to an NPC (i.e. the CQ board after finishing a quest) Just take the script off after you kill a mob, once the script is off obviously you'll start teleporting back again so you'll need to use the old method of using a skill when you want to stop

yea I know its not a complete bypass
and as monkeyman said all the script does is NOT update the value that the game uses to calculate if you are too far from the location. In the meantime I think you can use an AOE skill to talk to NPCs. (However that should not be a permanent solution)

and you guys don't have to go through the trouble of finding the aobs
I already added the bypass to the speed script inside the speed script on my LIST

but the whole idea was to get you guys to realize that just because everyone is saying that something is sever sided... its not a reason to blindly believe them.

I started 2Moons again yesterday and in 20 mins I figured out that the script was possible, while I was searching for the character X and Y pointers.

if any of you guys had spent and hour on it. Im sure someone would have found the same thing I did. So now that I showed you that the whole thing is not server sided, will someone spend an hour or two on it
So this thread from now on will turn into a discussion on what you guys find and how you think the speed check works (preferably supported by facts)
