Windows 7 fixs?

I just recently have gotten a new computer which is running on the OS windows 7. Is there any fixs to the failing minilauncher.exe?

Go to ur 2moons/delaron folder. Open "version.txt" and "launcher.config" (launcher.config needs to be opened with a text editor, like notepad) if the codes dont match, copy the numbers from version.txt to launcher.config and save it.

okay i did and im still having the problem, the "verison.txt" numbers were 8.19.0 and i went to the launcher and replaced, i saved it and started my 2moons again and i got the no connection error again, did i do something wrong?

i did and even put it on my old vista, it works on there, so its my windows 7 is the reason?

Ok, i am running windows 7 ultimate x86 and there is no problem with 2moons here even had it on x64. I suggest you re-download the installer. Uninstall the game, reboot, run a CCCleaner through your system, reboot, and then re-install the game.

Have you tried to run it in compability mode ??? Dunno if that'll clear it up. but it seems to me that it might be a problem with either the Windows 7 build your using or the actual setup of it.

Ok, i jsut redid my machine with Windows 7 Ultimate X64 and used the installer from March 29th 2010 cause thats the one i already had downloaded and everything installed and worked fine. installer name is : 2Moons(20100329).exe

dunno if that helps ya, but other than that i would say check your net connection, your firewall settings, it seems to be on your end. Sorry bud. Good Luck

Oh sorry didn't see your post about " how you do that "

Right click on the 2moons icon on your desktop
Properties
Compability
Check Run this program in compability mode
I would select Windows Xp Sp2.

If that doesnt work do the same to the actual file in the 2moons folder.. ie : dekaron.exe
cause the icon on desktop is just the launcher.. but try the launcher alone first.

One last thing.. if you have cool'n quiet enabled on you system, go to your control panel,
power option and set the powerplan to high performance.. I have found that some games don't like using the powersaver or balanced modes.. Not the case for me but just in case.

Compability mode =
right click 2moons icon on desktop
properties
compability
check :Run program in compability mode
I would use Windows Xp Sp2

Try that.
If no go,
go into 2moons folder and do the same on the dekaron.exe file.. but i believe ur problem is with Launcher.exe alone.
