Opinion Hacking/Hackers

I am a hacker myself and for a school exam my subject is hacking.
now my question for all of you is:

What is your reason to hack?
What is your opinion about hacking and hackers?

U took the wrong subject :P
You can only get flamed or even worse if u admit ur hacking in school.
3 years ago I did the same thing and I endet in principals office.

Dude, i dont think that you get the point (or i dont). But he's a hacker (dosint have to be the actualy type, maybe a game hacker like most of us) and has to do a report for school about hacking/other hackers.

Im ganna anwser ur questions.

Fun, learning something and testing my skills on that subject later on, and ofc more fun xD

Hacking

Hacking isint for everyone, like on the forums you have to have at least a bit of brain power to get something to work, and for that you have to read everything you find on that subject.

Hackers

At most points annoying as hell, but we cant forget that there is a person behind the keyboard, you might just hate his type of people.

I hack to gain an advantage over other players, its as simple as that. Now, this isnt actual hacking (i.e. pasting CE scripts). I do the real ****, reverse engineering, tracing API calls, learning how the BACKEND of a game or system works. I hack for the knowledge and for the spirit of free program licensing. A hacker is a backend guru who finds and knows the holes and flaws of a system and does everything in his power to use those to his advantage.

What is your reason to hack?

I hack cause its mostly fun, when your fooling around with something and finally get it to work, or not and its starting to do weird things... Always fun ... xD

What is your opinion about hacking and hackers?
Hacking is something thats allways been there, and allways will be there.
People allways want something for free, or work diffrently to fit there "needs" ...
They can patch things one day, but that doesnt mean people (hackers) will not find another way to do it... Its like a challenge, try to do something a normal person or computer user can not. Its a constant war between security specialist and hackers/crackers/reversers...
