How did you learn?

I have been a member of this forum for a while now and I have come across a bit of a problem, I have a very hard time with hacking. I mean, i can do the basics but not much.

I guess I was just wondering how did you guys first figure out how to make your own hacks? Like even the simple ones from vac hacking and zoom hacking all the way to 100% argate hack? How did you figure out all of the codes and everything? Maybe it would help if I could talk to an experienced person one on one. I have always wanted to learn how to hack and not have to rely on other people to release hacks so could you please help me out. Im willing to really work hard and put in hours to learn. Thanks

Oh and if a Mod views this could you maybe move it to a place where I would get better feedback? Im not sure if this is the best section. Thanks

Mm, starting to hack a game is harder than how it looks.
The first people who started to try (cose nothing is 100% sure) to hack this probably looked at the data files with winhex. Well, first of this he would probably try to use packet sniffing for hacking this, just for check if its encrypted or not (which it is).
Then, he surely tryed to change some values (bypassing the game first) and oh! surprise! now i discovered how to make me faster than normal. Mm, let's try to change those values and see what happens. Mm, nothing. Let's keep trying, let's change those.
And with failing time over time you finally get what can be edited.
This was how we made our first vac attempts. I remember that age, when someone released a programm that was noob-friendly and it just scanned data files and let us change the mob options more clearly. Then I also remember that someone released a color-pixel based bot (bot era, that's why i quitted) and another guy released something that letted us change skins of mobs to pink (so the bot could see them easier).
Then (idk what came first cose i quitted this game for 1.5 years) someone released unpacker and then ce scripts.

Thanks for the input. I guess what I really wanted to know was how a person with no or little experience (me) in hacking can learn how to do it right now. Ive always been interested but ive never known where to start. Like I want to learn how to hack and make my own hacks 2Moons or for the private servers that are out right now.

Mm, you can't really make something that isn't released yet.
I mean, every possible thing that anyone thought about is done. Some ppl have a lot more of advantage over you (time advantatge).
What you can do is search inside datas with winhex for editable values, or if you know the assembly language you can try to make that mass spawn with a script, but that's a really hard work.

Haha no I worded that wrong. I mean I want to use the same hacks but I dont want to have to wait for people to release them for the server that I want to play. I want to learn how to make them on my own without having to wait for other people to release them for me. Maybe it would help if I could somehow get the full version of Winhex. Is it harder than I make it to be to make a vac hack for a random private server out there?

usually creating a hack for a pserver is easier than for the normal game, cose pservers usually have no protection so it's as easy as unpacking, editing the values you want to and then repacking the files.

Learn to hack single player games first, they are much eaiser and you dont have to worry about anything being server sided + do the cheat engine tutorials.
