Any1 gotta any ideas how to start game from dekaron exe? cos some of server aren't allow players to start game from dekaron exe. i know it's inside the exe. any1 know please ans me. tys,,

did you try starting it straight from there? As in clicking on it? If you're vista user, you have to right click "run as admin".

i think he means he wants to start it from dek.exe but on some servers he gets minilauncher error message.

If there is a minilauncher that pops up put a BP on CreateProcess and then you can see where the compare is with just a simple tracing backwards.

If there is an error message popping up it's even simpler, search for the message string in the file and you'll see where it gets pushed onto the stack. The compare is just above it (usually).

nothing came out when click on the exe. and the game no load as well. if it's so i cant trace the command???

well it sounds like something is wrong with your dek.exe. you could still trace it, and see where the problem is. cause maybe they removed the error message but still left the check.

nothing at all. is not like 2moons. when you click on the dekaron exe it will redirct you to mini launcher. this 1 totally nothing appear. i had tried to place another server's dekaron exe in to bin folder. and it do start. but it hang during loading. so it show tat the command is in the exe. and the mini laucher is the "key" to open it.

They've probably removed the MessageBox. Try to BP ExitProcess API and look in the stack where it got called from. The check should be right above it .

BP ExitProcess API?? do you mean attach the memory reading tool to the process?? i m testing on a server gotta error msg box appeared. so when the it appeared i attach ce to it? or using olly?

try deactivate your anti virus and start then...I get sometimes same problem..but when I turn off anti virus all works

ok i had solve the dekaron with error msg. it can ran from the dekaron exe now. but i still cant fine the 1 without giving you any error msg. hmmm.. instant and bottomy any suggestion?? no idea where to start.

so you can't get the dek.exe that doesn't display error message to work, but you can get one that does to work? well you can do like instant said put breakpoint on the call to API function ExitProcess. or you could just start tracing as soon as you start up the dek.exe, cause what could be happening is there's an error in the dek.exe so it could be crashing before it even creates window or checks whether it's been launched through minilauncher.
