Someone on MSN asked me to ask a question about the logs of the server.

Do the logs ever get deleted or do they stay permanently so the GM's can check the logs and ban fast lvl'd chars?

Do they even check the logs at all?

they do check logs, well at least they used to back at gamehi's. there was a video of krajek hacking in df and he didnt get banned coz supposedly such situation didnt occur in logs.

i think they can save logs (let's say in a file of 1mb , so there can be the last xp u got in 5 days or 5months if u didn't played )

It's a big difference in saving logs or searching for hackers

You really think Nexon with his 2 GM's will check all the logs? I guess not.

i was meaning if u hacked 1 year ago and from when u hacked till now u played legit the logs changed and there is a chance to don't have logs when u hacked anymore

I'm pretty sure they have the logs, but I am also sure that they don't check them

Indeed there are logs and they are actually very advanced.
They can track all your movement and actions but ONLY if you are reported but still, they might won't do it.
But I assure you that the logs are enough to get you banned for a while or even permanently.
