hey all, been gone for a while bout 4 months, back in the game.
i know ima get flamed for asking but is all good lol, are we still using datapk 4 with hex like before and i have read some of the forums of past. just trying to get back in the vac/hack of things again

well cause there hasn't been any release of a 'working' crc bypass, data.pak editing won't work. only way to vac now is through CE.

there is no need for data.pak editing anymore, it is much easier to use cheat engine.

Both have their pros and cons:
CE is easier and more straight foward. Its effects are overarching and apply to all monsters. Unfortunately, CE hacks are less stable and can cause dc's.

Hex editing is much more stable and rarely causes dc's with a proper crc bypass. It can hack select monsters you choose so it's much more discrete. Unfortunately, editing pack files are rather tedious, takes longer to learn, and the smallest mistake could make all your efforts pointless.

Personally, I use both, cus both have their ups and downs.
