why the bot doesnt work on dagger (hunter)

i put the bot on hunter and he dagger and he didnt attack why?
and how can i fix that?

but i want dagger like other bots

the bot was made so that if you level a hunter it will only shoot a bow/xbow it wont do melee damage(as in dagger). the same thing is true for a mage, it wont use its melee attack only skills
