Winhex Question! Pros it takes TWO seconds!

Alright. So my winhex started opening pack.d04 with text instead of hexidecimal codes?



Help with directions please.

why are you even use winhex on pack.d04 when there are tut's on how to use csv exactly like when there was the usa folder. 10x easier and you dont need winhex you can us notepad or even better a program like csved. look in the other section or use the search

Because 90% of other Tuts dont tell me anything other than


"USE CSV" and go into the tut. Wtf is CSV?

CSV editing is the thing when you unpack your packfile and edit the .csv files that are unpacked.

I don't use the .csv editing because i have more lag (which causes dc) than using the edited packfile. So i stick with hex editing.

Im using CSV method only when I need to add some extra files (like purple monsters for using 2Mbot etc) cause is impossible to obtain same size when u add bytes to the pack. Well if u are begginer at winhex then try to use CSV method at ur own risk.

There was no problem, I just couldnt find the codes. ^^
