Speedhacks...WHATthefeh?

I had been fiddling with the idea of running really fast for awhile now, well before someone introduced me to this website. I knew it had something to do with the .csv file, and when I found the tut's on this site I figured someone else had found a better way to do it...Right?

Eh, it might just be ME, but editing the appropriate values in the maplist.csv file doesn't seem to have the intended effect I thought it would. I know speeding still exists, I've run into 3 or 4 hackers doing it already, but what could I possibly be doing wrong?

Well, we can't really help if you don't explain exactly what you're doing. Speed hacking for your own character is related to maplist.csv. Editting the speed of monsters is related to monster.csv. What exactly is going wrong for you?
