This thread should probably be in the "PServer" section but I think its more of a topic for discussion than a guide or a plea for help.
I have seen alot of guides on the net for setting up a LAN based private server for the likes of WoW and I like the idea of having a LAN based Dekaron/2Moons server. I play dekaron EU and it is over-run with hackers. I dont hack and if I had my own server I wouldn't even hack that!
Is it possible to run a private server from home just using the files we downloaded to install the game? or is the game too "server sided" to get all the necessary files to run the game?
