Question Hackable: Client side vs Server side

I'v been reading a bit and I was already familiar with winhex and the likes, so I was able to start messing around in the Dekaron process rather easily. What I'm wondering is, what exactly can be modified, and what use it could be.

For example, we know that character experience is server side, so modifying it would have no real purpose, but for some reason, it'll let you equip weapons of higher level if you meet the other requirements, which could also be modified should they need be. So all and all it's rather tricky and could possibly take a bit of time before actually playing. ( The addresses have a habit of changing, so it's almost always back to square one. )

I'd be curious to compile a list of what's Client sided versus what's Server sided, and see if we can find good uses for them. Another example is someone who posted what he found when he was playing around with his hex editor. Apparently, the game counts how many objects are on the ground near the player. Although this alone might seem useless, it could be very useful information for someone creating a bot, like it was mentioned.

Up to now, here's what I found out:

The damage can be modified, it's server sided, no real effect client side.
Physical resistance can be raised to 100%, unsure yet if this is server sided.
Defense can be modified. I jacked mine all the way to 9999 and my shield climbed to 85k, which is pretty decent considering I'm lvl 56. This doesn't seem to have any real effect in PVE (I wouldn't know, being a dual AK) , but I'm curious to test it out in PVP. Now, if it could only finish recharging......

Other things that were pointless to try out, but fun to see:

-Raised money to 999,999,999,999. No real effect. One hell of a screen shot though.
-Spent a good 20 minutes trying to find the HP values, got bored and tried something else.
-Played a bit with the socket %, now, remains to be seen if this is 100% foolproof. Didn't try it out enough to know.

Note that I did all this within an hour and strangely enough, never even got disconnected or suffered any lag. No auto-ban either.

If anyone with spare time wants to post their findings, go ahead.
Constructive comments also appreciated.

forget it.

everything is serverside for that. for example shield. it goes up to 85k but if you get hit once in pvp it goes down to the real value (for example 12k). Its the same for all other stats like resistance. it changes only the view (you will get still the same damage).

well i move it into discussion section because this is not really an release

Yes, it's the same like the level requirement of a skill. You can edit this in data.pak, and you are able to click on the "+" to increase the level of the skill and can click on "confirm" (till here, it's clientsided) but then an error message occurs in the chat window, that you cannot raise the skill (cause this step is serversided. I'm almost sure, at this time, the server checks your level in the database and the level requirement in the database and than brings the error)

Remember that equipping higher level armor while changing your experience is also client side. The only thing that might be useful is that you'll turn invisible if you do it...

Well... The only proof I have is screenshot proof but I could record a movie as well if you want...

As you can see I'm in party with my other char, look at the green point on the minimap. The server recognizes me as I am there, yet I'm not there. Look yourself.

This is my position on my other char while I took the screenshot with my lvl2 char.
Also I walked with my lvl2 char to the place where my other char was, but I couldn't see anyone there. Well...

Character name restrictions are client side, not server side

"Sorry non-alpha numberic....." That error message you get when you type in special characters in your character name, is client sided. It does no server check. Im not a coder or anything, so I'm not sure how to fix that. But since it is client sided, it would be a lot easier to repair this problem.
