cant read data.pak w/winhex
ok i forgot what i did to read the data pk. but now i cant read it, it either opens like "1F 0E 3F.." or "#$#%#$@...." can someone tell me what option to make it in text and numeric that is readable. I chose text only under "view" but it shoews all %^&&*#^$&#..plz help

this is wha ti get when i choose "view as text: Èÿ*ÿ–ÿ–ÿ¬ÿÌÿÏÿÑÿ½ÿ›ÿƒÿVÿ)ÿÿþÛ" i cant change anything like. I cant see the values..

omg the data.pak doesnt includes only readable text.
u have to search for what u need like "Great Mana Potion".

i use offset and put in the numbers for the monsters but i cant see the values..before i was able to see it now its all encrypted. Isn't there an option??

yeah so i manage to hack using the ReXIGNation, and CE updating the offsets from the given hacks in some of the forums. all that is fine and all. but theres people hacking in the game still, so if anyone knows what is the deal with all this please share the information and help me have more knowledge on this. what is all that stuff i read about?? and what is CRC i see in the ReXIGNation launcher too? what does CRC stand for? do? well thank you to anyone who answers this with legitimate...

sample in process monitor program::
C:\2Moons\Data\usa\share\maplist.csv PATH NOT FOUND Desired Access: Generic Read

ok i been un-installing and reinstalling 2moons also try backing up my data.pk 04. The problem i keep getting is, even though i close out my winhex and deleted all my files. When i open a new data pk w/ winhex, the modified parameters are still there. I open winhex thru my shortcut on start menu and thru program files itself still get samething..
Also i cant get the vac to work using the tuts. I dont even get the invalid client, did exactly what the tut said. AM using vista atm, can anyone...

Winhex not changing data

Ok, i opened winhex, and put in the regstration keys. Then backed up my data.pak file.
I can change anything, drag whs files onto it ect.
It also starts writing and saving. However the data.pak file is not changed at all. I tried this many times, all falling into the same situation.
Is there a certain feature that needs to be added so that the data.pak file can be overwritten?
Winhex is at the latest version, i am running windows vista with administrator rights. This is 2 moons,...
