Age of Conan
Hey guys, long time no see. If you don't remember me I originally made MoonBot a long time ago. Sorry I didn't really update it that much I started playing Age of Conan and got a new PC and never got around to reinstalling 2 moons. The reason I am here though and posting back is I am asking the community for help.
I was fortunate enough to get an Age of Conan account and am currently planning on having a bot done by release. Obviously it is a whole new nut to crack and I definetly plan on cracking it. I have some great ideas, much better than moonbot, but I wanted to ask the community to see if they wanted to help.
I see a lot of changes and new bots have come around since I have been gone.
If any of these new bot developers would mind sharing ideas, concepts or even source code for different ideas or strategies in cracking it I would greatly appreciate it.
I WILL have a bot when the game is released. What the bot will be capable of will all depend on what i can crack and what the community can help with.

well leting u know now, 2moons has changed alot. .cvs scripts dont work anymore and acclaim finaly starting to crack down on the auto-banning and banning in general.

im not for sure yet, but alot of people dont use thos cuz its too easy for someone to put a keylogger / trojan into those without being detected cuz its already considered one.

Well those work for pretty much every game and even if they block them you can almost always get around it. That is why I was asking.
Also stop assuming things. I did use the search I have looked through every single thread on this forum. Most of the ideas that are worth anything the source was not released.
I was asking for coding ideas from actual skilled developers. I have no problem coding myself. I already have a working prototype that bots perfectly fine, but tips and things from other developers always leads to a better product.
Can someone who actually knows how to program comment in here??
If you want specifics I am talking more into:
-Good logic for navigating around walls and through an area without depending on color.
-Navigation system using coordinates.
Stuff like that. This logic would be pure coding.. As in scripting, not editing a data.pak or intercepting packets.
What i have so far is pretty good, but other good developers can always help me improve it.

If you have looked through every thread on this forum you would have seen a post I made JUST YESTERDAY that released the script to a decompiled autoit bot for auto pots...
EDIT: look on the hack section where you originally posted this borderline another report worthy thread, considering its basically about another game...
Read my post and it tells how to see the script.

I know how to autopot, that is very simple to do. I am talking much more complex than that.
An autopot program can be made in a couple hours. I already have it autopoting.
If you bothered to do your research you would realize moonbot did autopot.

Sorry bro I didn't use lame *** bots to auto pot... I actually just editted data.pak which is so much better, and less chance for it to screw up do to faulty coding... *cough cough*
And if you actually bothered to do you reasearch you could always just try editting and modifying Cosmos 2Mbot to work for another game jesus christ. just give up. /fail and besides I'm not trying to actually help you and you continue to try to insult me. GTFO. Please just do us all that favor and leave. Lmao.

Sigh.. I guess this is the response I was expecting from some people. I don't recall asking what you used or what your opinion of them is. Considering the other game is still in beta the data.pack has not been edited yet.
I was simply asking for help from people who have written quality scripts for ideas or code samples for some pretty complex stuff like what I have said above.

Get overmyself?
I can program in Java, C, C++, VB, Scripts, C#, assembly, and even a bit of ASP programming, and have a bachelors to prove it, but who cares what I can program in. I was asking about Autoit. I am not here to compare E-Peens.
If you really want to be a mod trash talking people asking for help isn't the way to get there. I was mearly asking for ideas for some more advanced autoit stuff and your being extremely rude!

Uh, aside from the arguing, for 2Moons, only thing blocking the functioning of AutoIt scripts is GameGuard. But, GG is easily bypassed in several ways. I like to reinstall and make it so GG won't update...

So any updates on this? I really do want to have a polished bot by release. Currently it can autotarget 100%, autopot, and use skills.
I could make the bot randomly wander but what I would idealy like to do is make some sort of navigation system. There are certain instances that are private where no one else can get into unless they are in your party (like WoW) and botting in these is a fantastic idea as you cannot be spotted.
Now my issue is how to navigate these by yourself instead of waiting for a rather slow respawn. For Age of Conan you have to face your target to attack it so I have it facing your target but obviously you lose your intial direction you were facing, so trying to set it up ahead of time to travel a set path is rather difficult because you will not know which way you are facing.
If possible I would like to make a reactive AI to the environment. I have even though about taking a screenshot, changing it to greyscale and looking for the least changed pixel by pixel to try and follow the floor and ignore the walls, but I do not know how intensive that would be CPU wise or if it would even work if the dungeon walls are very similiar color to the floor.
Does anyone else have any ideas as for navigating in an indoor instance?
Currently trying to do it by a map of the area is not possible either because well there is no map for instances. (not sure if thats just for now in the beta or intended).
All ideas are welcome.
