Complain about Infractions

Hey Users,

in the last time We got several complaints because the Infractions we're setting.

So I've checked why we have to set Infractions (Table shows Infractions from 29.03.2008 till 05.04.2008)

1. Wrong Forum
2. Insults
3. Double Posts
4. Question already answered in another Thread
5. Spam

So I thought about how we can reduce the amount of Infractions and... it's up to you. We handle only with the orders the Admins or I set for the Team.

Why we set an Infraction for posting a question in no-question area?

We look over every Thread and move it to another section, have to post what we do, then have to set Infractions and so on. It's an enormous backoffice-management which is behind that and... we don't want to do that! We really don't bu if you don't follow our board-rules we have to do.

Okay... I hope you understand the sense what I was talking about. We only give much Infractions if people don't handle with our rules and sorry... personally I think the red remark at exploits for „no-question“ is enough information. Otherwise you sure can read our penalties:

I say it like it is... I write this post 'cause an Admin thought it would be better if I post why we set Infractions. Personally I think it should be clear that we have to watch over and look that every thing works.

I'm a little bit angry... I think everyone knows that at reading this post.

I don't know what I should change. Shall i reduce the penalties? Shall I reduce the rules? If I do that the Forum will be whelmed over by wrong-forum-postings, spams, insults, double postings, double threading and so on... So... tell me... tell me everyone what we should change. Give us a hint to improve our Service.

i think it would be more open and clear if u create a different section for 2moons and Eu-Dekaron. (as u did for Private servers)

tbh, the sections Exploits / Quesions on the other side are so foolproof, u cant really make it more clear than that. u will always have some 12 year olds who just dont give a **** about posting in the right section.... u just cant help there...

Geez it sucks how you have to go through all this trouble to tell the public about these infractions... i think people should just deal with it.

First of all, I want to thank all the mods for their tremendous work on keeping this forum clean. Thank u guyz/girlz without u, this place would be pretty messy and chaotic, keep up the good work

There is definitely something wrong when there are more infractions given for "wrong forum" than for spam, double questions/post or insults -PUT TOGETHER- on a website such as this.

was my suggestion on the idea, but I'll restate it here.

If you guys consider so many things to be the "WRONG SECTION" post a RULE THREAD about what DOES go in the section so the people will KNOW what you expect to be in each section. THEN feel free to give infractions. Cuz right now you're giving infractions like candy and thats a good way to lose members. Perhaps if there was a POSTING GUIDE per section with what is allowed and not allowed for that section you'd have fewer posts to move and to give infractions for, cuz people would have been TOLD what the hell you expect of them.

Also some specific sections. You have 3 total section for a game that has 3 different versions, a new big patch that prevents 90% of the hacks and bots listed on this site if not more, not to mention the numerous private servers. I believe someone already mentioned giving private servers and -EACH- Dekaron version their own section. Some hacks will work with certain ones and not with others after all why are they lumped into a big pile.

Another thing you need to do is clean up the hack posts themselves. Make an archive thread for the hacks that worked previously and start new with the hacks that work with BMR. Open the hack section to allow questions so people can discuss means of altering the hacks to make them work. This is a hacking community right? Why cant we discuss hacking in question form in the hack threads?

From what I've seen you have 4 mods for a 3 section area. That should be enough. Usually forums stick by the rule of 1mod/section - but as you can tell the workload you have is greater due to the lack of posting guildelines and the need for the sections to be split.

- advertisment is forbidden (if you want to advertise on this site write a email at "god.[at].elitepvpers.com")if you advertise on our site you will be banned or you will get one or two infractions

- if you post racistic comments , you will be banned

- if you want to spam , go to the offtopic and post it there

- you want to join our team ?

- Warez are forbidden , if you post it , don´t marvel if you are banned

- Double posting , or pushing up really old Topics , just for fun is not allowed

- Signature rules -

- Width : not bigger than 300px
- hight : not bigger than 200px
- Size : not bigger than 300kb
- amount : 2 , but these may not be bigger than 300x200 combined (for expampe 2 banners with 150x100)

- no obscene themes and no flamings
- not TOOO much text

So the Rules are still posted from creating the sections, why I should repost the same rules? Why you saying no rules are there, but there are there? Why you complaint things which are already clear? I don't understand your handling.

To the "Differnt Version"- Look at WoW Section. There are so mandy WoW patches why they don't need different sections for every vers.?

We only need a Section for Discussion, Releases and PServer I don't see the reason for another forum's cause no game has that.

Look at Kal Online. A good game with many Pserver, many Servers and also many hacks. They only need 1 Board!

So... I don't understand your reasons for that.

And... if you think we have nothing to do and we're 4 Mods cause we're thinking it's sooo funny... then sorry but you have no clue what we have all to do. And discussions like this one cause people don't read already existing rules or remarks in forum's is an extra work and sorry but we don't have to do this.

I create this thread only for you Liana cause you write me a complaint. I told you already why we handle this way in a PM. Not enough for you, you PM'ed an Admin. The Admin's talked about and give me the decission if i want to post this stuff or not. And I do. I sit there work 2 hours for the diagramm, the textes and all and you come along with "there are no rules".

Sorry if I'm angry but if you want to annoy our work read the whole forum-stuff so you know what you're talking about.

ok ill be honest, back when i first came to this forum for conquer online hacks / bots i didnt pay attention to the red line that said no questions untill i got yelled at by half the forum users for conqer online.
now i use it and report everyone that misplaces a topic or whatever.

also on another topic, 2Moons Bad Moons Rising and EU Dekaron is a totaly different game, 2 different ingens. if the admins could please make 2 more sections in the 2Moons sections both of which for EU Dekaron i will personaly vollentear to find all the EU posts and send them to you, it is geting hectic over there in the forums.. trying to figure out what post for a script or hack is for what server cuz few cases people have not said what game there on.

There are no board rules, which I have pointed out, please read my post again. I'm not talking about FORUM rules, those are generic for every single board on these forums and is copy/pasted exactly the same on each section. What I'm talking about are BOARD or SECTION rules. Rules that state what topics are allowed, if questions are allowed, if links are allowed, if open discussion is allowed, ETC.

Here just in case you cant understand THIS time I'll post an example:

Board A Rules:

On this board you will be able to openly discuss methods and reasons for hack tools, the changes they will make to gameplay and the processes used to create and use them.

You will not be allowed to post links.

You will not be allowed to ask for hacks, this is a discussion not a request section.

Notice these rules are QUITE different from the forum rules and netiquette posted already. THESE are the rules you should be explaining if you are going to try to cut down on 'wrong forum' infractions.

I am also trying to help, I have run community forums before and I honestly cannot understand this communities need to give so many infractions for something that could easily be handled other ways. More than 50% of your infractions are because of this one issue. That is not how it should be, but it also makes more work for you and the other mods. as well as upsetting your community. Surely putting up a simple Rule post about what is allowed and not for each section will end up saving you time and effort in the long run. On top of that, fewer infractions given means a happier community as a whole.

Now if you still dont understand my post there's no hope.

Dear ~Liana~,

since every Board in this Forum is to obey the Forum Rules, there is actually no need for Board-Rules. If an Administrator is to write out more rules for his area of attention, its up to him. But the guidelines and main rules are in the Forum rules. So if you do not except this fact, it is up to you, to change the Board or even the Forum. But there will be no further discussion about the Rules. Since mainly every other member of the Board can except this fact, you may as well or leave. So the descision to make is up to you.

hey vyn,

awhile back i was letting ppl know they were posting in the wrong sections of the forums and i also posted a link to the right place with in this post

they were posting requesting to buy in the offers and offers in the requests

AND I GET INFRACTIONS FOR THIS

the mod of for that part of the forums obviously wasn't doing his job properly because as soon as i starting doing his job for him he infractions me.................
