Monster Spawn Rate

I have succesfully been able to adjust the AI as most for the mobs to not attack, then I traced the Monster follow distance, agro Number, avoid rates, etc. Now I can pull just about every monster on the map and have them nicely pile on top of each other for a few quick aoe attacks and watch the XP flow in. The problem is I then have to wait for new mobs to spawn. Has anyone had any success in increasing the Monster Spawn rate?

I noticed at one point that there is a limit of 200 monsters per map. Not sure if this is reinforced on the server, but current behaviour suggests it may be client side.

I have tried editing the spawn rate, the coords that the monsters will spawn and the index of the monster that spawns but it doesn't seem to work. I'm yet to try editing the summon capacity and rates of the bosses.

Yup, u can control how fast mobs will spawn, AND editing boss mob-spawn-speed-and-number-of-mobs is easily done as well. Just gotta try harder. ^^

I'm trying to figure how to do it but i didn't found how to change the Monster follow distance and agro Number. BTW, changing the mobs spawn location doesn't work.

So I have been able to adjust the Camera distance, angle, etc. Run speed works as well, though you get DC'ed shortly after. The default Monster rate is 100, I tried changing it to various values and it does not seem to have any effect. The monster limit is 200, changing this does not seem to have any impact either. Each setting is map specific.

Well mate, I haven't searched hard enough for regular mob rate respawn but boss mob rate respawns (Death Lupains, Laedon Egos) are all adjusted on same place you editted the monster limit for following you. Search for DwSummon, it's like the last 4 attributes on each monster.

Thanks, found the area, it only affects the bosses not the regular mobs. Still trying to figure that one out. It appears as though that may be controled by the server, as the Boss values are specific delays, eg: Aron = 60000ms, but the standard mobs are all set to 0, then map specific values of 100 rate. Changing this did not seem to have any affect.

Also, I changed the spawn rate of Ellipses in Crespo, changed it from 10,000 to 1,000, it does not seem to have any effect. Any additional suggestions would be of help.

PS: You can also set the Safe Zones to off, so that you may attack in Loa, etc, though the attack does not seem to register, you can still do all the magic effects.

You need to give yourself an extra byte of space to change the number to 99, you can subtract from some monster HP value a few spaces over.
