There's more attacks than just SQL injection. They could have combined other attacks so it lets them use SQL injection, or they could have used other attacks to just gain admin access and drop his table manually. Also there are ways of bypassing basic checks.

It doesn't necessarily mean they did it through exploiting a vulnerability in OSDS.
