What is the best system for the server?

Hi, what system will best x64 server into my computer dekaron
either on Linux or something to put seven in addition to VMware. Please help with advice

Software: Windows Server 2003
Ram: 4GB - 8GB Ram
Harddisc: 30GB - 50GB
AMD: Quad Core 2.33 Ghz - Core i7

Cpu does not realy matter for dekaron:
Intel, amd
Single, dual, quad cpu

all will work just fine
