to make a character a GM go to the database/character/user_character and simply add [GM] or [DEV] infront of the character name you want to make a GM. as for the level i'm not 100% sure you can set th level itself but you can boost stats for sure just change the number in the appropriate column. i think i had tried changing the level once but it did not stick(i could be wrong tho so try it it's just another column in the same table)

Well, he can always tell you the root (sa on MSSQL) password and enable its access from remote machines. But lol, thats as unsecure as it gets. So he should make you a separate user in the database, which you would use to login.
