Some notes from me - the EVAL version of Server2000 that was linked in the original video description (that I've copy pasted below) is a trial version that will only last 180 Days and will stop working after that. I found a full version of that software and uploading it here:

I suggest using updated client with many bug fixes + adapted for A2 (the client originally is A3 so it has stuff that just doesnt work) from here:


Both links are from thirdeye42 so all credit goes to who and whoever worked with on that before him (I know of Hellspider and Zander but I don't want to leave anyone out of the credits)

By newest update I assume you mean latest Action? This tutorial in mainly for A2/A3 so won't be of much help for you. I'm not up to date with the newest actions but there are multiple posts about those in this forum so you can look around. Here's a link to a post with pretty recent Server/Client files posted by Farius

Farius used modified a9 server. They are similar setup processes, a9 requires newer database software (2k8r2+) and more servers to elevate. This tutorial does not apply to it.
But is a great tutorial to learn the basics.
