Aight for some reason, I can't edit out certain
files from my client with updates, idk why but
instead of it replacing certain files....
it just makes another one and keep both
lets say im trying to change a loading screen...
what it does is add the new loading screen i put there
but it wont show that loading screen on starting of client
it would show the old one. now if i unpack client,
theres duplicates, but the new one dont show at loading screen
just old. so i want to know if theres a way i can patch/update
and delete thefile and add in new one
instead of unpacking,deleting old and adding in new...

That's very odd indeed, unless your using something other than the DIV updater I would have no clue, unless you have multiple folders to mess with noobs and you've lost track, and I edit out my old folders with empty one's of the same name, seems to work for me anyway. Hope it helps.

**EDIT** also make sure the file you edited doesn't have a _ or a - within it, I had the same problem today to with the loading screen "dekaron image" it tends to do that for some reason.
