mssql db's are not backwards compatible
but if your running mssql 2008 your should be fine
but i recommend that you use 2005, it maybe less secure and ****
but it does not need so high system specs

Download the backup files from Janviers site, DKunderground. They work on 2000, 2005, and 2008.

Also, if you have a problem, it would help to explain the issue rather than just say it's not working. Is there an error message or anything?

yes they are i double checked them for some reason sql2008 restore path is automatically program files/sql2008/restore/ tried the old sql 2000 path like c:/billing.bak etc didnt work either,i gave up on sql2k8 and ur right janvier it uses wayyy to much system resources for only a sql server its to much 1 gig at idle time. Installing again swl2005 gonna stick with that one its pretty fast .

dont use mssql 2000 with a Chinese back up
some chars have ???? inside them, good luck deleting them
mssql 2000 does not support those Chinese characters
unless you have some plug in or patch for it

The problem is that another database is already using the file named billing.mdf in your default SQL backup folder.

When restoring the database, change the location of billing.mdf to "C:/billing.mdf" and then run the restore. You change the location under the "restore as" section on that screen shot you posted.

It doesn't matter where, just as long as it's not in the same folder with the other "billing.mdf" which is being used by a different database. C:\ is just an example to make it easier for him/her

Restore sounds from CO 1.0

well ive played this game long enough to remember alot of the sounds that were back in co 1.0 but were changed in co2. i'd like to have back the sounds from when killing monsters and the ones from weapons hit, as those that are in co2 just sound wimpy. so if anyone still have the original sounds from co 1.0 packed, and know if the ones in co 2.0 can be replaced without needing to change filename. i'll bet that many who played back in co1 will agree that the monsters were a bit louder upon...
