can any one help me with this error i dont usually ask for help but im stumped atm

sp_char_list is missing is my guess.

its a character database stored procedure which essentially forms the packets for sessionserver.
sessionserver then sends the pre-constructed packets to your client. it is necessary to have the SP otherwise you wont be able to connect.

Is the user in the config.ini of the cast server a database administrator with sysadmin rights? Check to make sure the user has full permission on the stored procedure. If this is all correct, try the steps below:

1. Open the stored procedure and copy the code to a text file.
2. Delete the stored procedure, close management studio.
3. Stop and start the SQL Server service.
4. Open management studio create new stored procedure.
5. Copy code from text file.
6. Try launching server again.

@guesswho try using ctrl + to make the screen bigger so you can see his thumbnail.

cast server has nothing to do with SP_CHAR_LIST. that SP will be called even if you completely remove the server from your PC or even the network. as I said it's related to sessionserver and that is the only service that will call it upon login.

does session server start correctly? take a screenshot of sessionserver start up (dbmon window, not the server itself.)
