The updater dont create any files with the name darnus or other, only if u pack files he create a temp, but he delete the temp very fast u can see the temp files only if u pack a big file. temp.~upa (the name of temp) ... in the system temp he create too such a file UP$A$123456.~upa if u Open a Pack File, but not a file with the name darnus lol ^^ All my files got no Virus look at my Scans ;-)

Edit: The DK Update System is not in Development. The reason: My HDD was crashed ... i have order a new one, now i have to install Programs like Delphi to create a Release ^^

Edit2: Dk Update System will Release Soon. Remote Starter is Released, but not uploadet.

Check "C:\Users" for a folder called "darnus"
DELETE IT !

all empty files but why ?
why do you need to create that ?
does it have any use to be there ?
those are the questions that i need, it makes you look suspicious

lol they files was only to test the engine ... to extract without errors in the folder. The files are under example data folder right? Its was only for testing lol xD wrong alert ^^

I don't think his files contain virus as I had it downloaded and it's not a virus, I have no ''darnus'' folder anywhere on my hdd nor anything.

About DK Update System:

This tool got the Intern Name of "UPPACK" its a old Project from me, i have create a Secure Network Share System (P2P) this have allowed to share Files without anybody knows what is contains in the UPA Archiv only for the Downloader. The Download have open it only with the agree from user , Reason: The key (password) to open it was Saved Online, nobody can get this password , the user have to click Button "Get Crypt PWD" ... to the same time the other user (the uploader) have to klick OK to share the password with the downloader this was only a way to open such archiv files.

If Uploader have press okay, the dowloader can open the pack file, but cant see the Password.

This was variant to Rapidshare or other tools, a new generation of Download System.

The Project was Freezed. Now i have create a way to update your Games / Dekaron. U can use it too as WinRaR alternativ ... not more..

i dont create any Programs an upload it without a sucess test.

try it: create a text file , hold on STRG an and the file want to kopie... its enaugh about that. STOP IT NOW!

i can tell you about this path:

You have a very old version.

About your Folder?
The folder dktest was createt on my desktop, in the data folder i have create the text.txtto try the update functions. The "uppack" create the directorys force before he extract files. In your example folder was a update.dat with this files and you have use the example.exe he have extract update.dat ... nothing more.

And this was that i have fixed ... he have to extract the files in the "data" folder direct not in the "orginal" folder now it works, but you have a Problem with text.txt sorry about that 0 bytes files, i have not time to write a howto to delete the text.txt .in the files -.-

Regardless of the minor things though.. You can be assured that:

Willfully & knowingly distributing virii with the intent of harm to data/information is illegal pretty much everywhere.. Proving it however, good luck! If you got a virus n you had to reformat, when you reformatted you basically tossed your evidence out

Oh and one more thing to note dude, for you Janvier specifically..
Your countries laws are indeed your countries laws.. You can pursue it if you wish but if its international you will have a very hard time with that.

Yknow its very difficult for ANY country to enforce their laws on another if the laws don't match for definition & punishment

Hope it helps clarify some issues for people, my post isn't directed to anyone in particular, just speaking my mind about the whole topic.. Really though, legal action for virii.. the cases are a penny a dozen (I'd say dime but, they're more plentiful than that lol) and the cases won, heh, null.

In your defence Darnus.. I ran a gaming clan a long time ago called The Software Kings & Queens.
Believe it or not some black hatter out there we prolly pissed off or beat in a video game had the odacity to mass distribute a virus named after us.. Or at least, I think it was named after us..

How we handled it was laughter.. It was hilarious for us to know that someone out there actually went to that length to try and get revenge.. The effect of ruining our name lasted a few days, just long enough for word to get around that not only didn't we do it, but we were laughin at whoever did it.. Why did we laugh? Why not..
