hi guys, im Luigi, im 26 and im italian.
I'm a fan of Dekaron , many years ago , following this tutorial , I was able to start the game.

now, i want to try to make new server with working dksquare belt, mavrik etc.
but i have a problem when i try to launch the sessionserver.exe

ok so i have followed this tut and im done with database and querys
just follow this tut

(im using sql 2014 but the setting are the same)

i have used the new database released from ultimo for sql 2008

and universal client and server files released from j123

and im on a laptop with amd 2 core and 4gb of ram

i just want to know what is my problem.

question, on the fisrt tutorial him restore the databases on C:\
but on the second tut for sql 2008 him restore databases on C:\DB

now i want to know what is the right directory to restore my databases for localhost

the problem may depend on where you 're restoring the db ?

ok ty then the problem is not related with the db or queries because I have not found errors.

however, a guy on elitepvpers sent me some files , compared the first tutorial of many years ago , these files contain many new files that do not know how to use. I hope someone can give me an explanation.

DB:

server and client files:

inside dkserver folder

ok so over 5 years ago by folowing the tut on youtube on the dekaronserver folder there is only 7 files:

dbmon
cast
login
msg
session
dkserver
launcher

now inside the new dkserver folder there are a lot of new files

now i need to know how to use the new files and what is the sequance to run it

sorry for the many questions but is over 5 years that I miss from the Dekaron scene

All work witout crash

DekaronServer_Arena -> DK Square, Battle Royal, Party Tournament and Guild Tournament
DekaronServer_Normal -> Normal server
script_client -> put this inside client\data\ (remove _client)
share_Server_Arena -> this share for Arena Server
share_Server_Normal -> this share for Normal Server

if you need config read this

and remember run dekaronserver_a11_arena and dekaronserver_a11_normal

I think I did a bit of confusion , now I clean my pc , reinstall sql 2014 db , query , and files placed in their proper directories , later let you know how it went .

last question, if I wanted to play locally with a friend, or if you wanted to create a lan party with other friends, is that possible?
I'm not interested in creating a private server or to make money, I'm just a fan of Dekaron, and also my best friend is a big fan, when he was 14 had a summy to lvl 129 on global!
Now we are old. I'm 26 years old and my friend has 25, is just to spend a few weekand with a bit of weed and Dekaron.

if your friend in the same local area network then yes its possible to play, but if not, you need external static IP address or just use hamachi. but you need change IP in some files for hamachi network.

when you start the server AI just wait some time (around 20~30 seconds)

when i rum server i just wait some time when i see ai server start i run next ans wait and again when i see lobby started run next and wait bla bla bla .

the query was successful .. This problem can be associated with the regedit key to GameHi?

A9 regedit key : google this one up.
1º Open regedit - localmachine - software - WoW6432node - Make a key called GameHi and into GameHi make other called Dekaron , next only run key .

because i have added this key but i dont know how to run it
