first of all i want to say hello to everyone.

well i have an idea of making a perfect private server.Oldschool server that would last forever(not like this oldschool servers that are getting closed after a month or 2)

we could make action 4.5 with working DK SQUARE , that would be awesome , everyone who wants to join the STAFF TEAM( looking for DEVS,MODS,HOSTS,ADMINS,OWNERS,GMS) add on skype: mamatijegay

So you want people to work you for you? Except for the glorious idea you presented give people one reason why to work for you.

Its called a staff team because everyone has a function, that's what makes a team.

Most servers have one or two people that does the work, then they just invite their friends to fill the staff team. But that sort of team collapses and ends up with dead server. I think that the reason for this is lack of trust when it comes to the server part now i understand that because most people don't do their own files they buy them, so for them the files are worth more then keeping the server alive, they fail to utilize the team, there's not trust in most of the servers up today, I've been invited to multiple servers as a web-developer when i have offered my skills, but everyone just want you to either hold on or they just decide that you can be GM and leave you there with no function. That often happens to me and i just quit, there's only one good staff team that I've been in and the server sadly got shut down long time ago. idea is one thing, what about execution?
how do you plan on implementing dk square in a2 files? or are you going to downgrade the a9 files to 4.5?
idea is not everything. Oldschool servers often close because nobody wants to play there. "oldschool" is in the past. most of the people who liked the old 2moons already moved on to different games (after all you can play on a pserver with a2 files only for so long before throwing up) and the rest that is still here either adapted the a7+ setting or simply like it the way it is NOW.

of course you can still try to get the old players back, but they've already moved on, so even if they join, they will most likely leave it after a while because they dont wanna deal with the same **** again.

every 'oldschool' server had an idea, had 'tons' of players who wanted to play, and of course wanted it to last, and then they opened, with no players, an old idea that didnt go anywhere, and it didnt last. its not like you are the first to have the idea, or to say you have all these players, or to claim it will last, you just happen to be the next person with all of that, and just like the people before you, the server will fail in the end, and everyone knows this except for you apparently.

DK square isnt going to make it any different, not to mention as its been stated, you cant make DKsquare on A2 files, and you cant really downgrade the A9 files to emulate A2 files (or 4.5 or w/e), so basically your options are an A2 server with some stuff that 4.5 has and no DK square, or A9 files with less **** that A9 should have except look and play just like A9 files. it isnt like a WoW emu, you cant just pick and choose what you want or what you dont, its either or.

but congratz on an idea thats been beat to death and proven to fail already

yes i have players and when ill have a working server ill get players thats for sure, i never asked anyone for their opinion on this post, im looking for a STAFF TEAM, not your idiotic comment , so stop commenting if you dont want to join the staff team

Your fight is an up hill battle here. You know who are the "DEVs" here are and the people that can potentially help you here. I advise you to PM them and let them know of your ideas and go from there.
Your Idea "on paper" is a good one I will give you that and there are plenty of people that love playing old school DK, that's why I have one running for friends at all times (self governed). I however do not have the time to "DEV" as I work 14 hrs a day but I am always looking for a well ran old school server. please keep me up to date on the progress of your server.
And keep in mind that what fastswipe is soooo very true. your "friends" can sink your server faster than any one.
