Im currently using an A3 Client "BMR Client by Hellspider"

I dont know why my darkavatar is not doing any damages.

Id really appreciate it if someone could help out.

Just give me an instruction on what to edit and stuffs and Ill get by somehow.

Go into the skill file, and fix the result code.
Then it will be fine. (the animation will always go to the east but dmg will track target and splashes will stay on them)

^could you be more "accurate" ? I dont know if that's in skill.csv or the other skill stuffs in effects, etc. :X a BIG THANKS for ''those'' who can help me solve :X I really just want dark avatar to work xD summies FTW !

edit: @also what would I put in the correct result code in order for it to take a 6hit damage? :X

I said go to the skill file.... so ofc its the skill.csv
That is the file that holds the info on the skill.
And for the bmr files I think it was 55005 or some **** like that.
I honestly can't remember. Just look at another summy attack skill, they should all be the same result code.
And the amount of hits is not determined by the result code, result code just tells the game what sort of outcome said "skill" or "effect" is supposed to have. Hence result, not amount of hits code or anything else lol.

Is it because your over level 170 when maplist.csv has max level as 170 still?
If so it does a crash when you walk out to certain monsters.
Go to maplist.csv and find the column for maxlvl and put it higher.

^thanks got it all working tho it took some time cause there isn't a single "maxlvl" thing and I gotta adjust some files xD one from another lol thanks tho! kuddos! the only thing Im working now is the DA direction of animation >.< I wonder why it goes to East all the time...

You wont fix it on the a3 serverfiles.
Don't even bother looking lol.

Either go with the a9 serverfiles, or just ignore the fact it goes to the side.

It's with the exe not knowing how to "parse" what the skill does. Mostly anyway.
I'm not 100% sure, but i believe the exe is supposed to tell the server "hey I want to cast it from here and then in this direction" but the a3 exe doesn't know how to say that, it only says "hey I'm casting this at this location" which then in itself is confusing cuz the default 0 angle (of where **** faces at least) is west not east.... I'm prob wrong but eh. Either way it's not worth worrying about it.

Or that's how I think it is supposed to work. I don't know if people change stuff with it to make it "work" on a3, so that it's just trying to cast on top of said target, which would make more sense, but because the animation wants to go from you character towards theirs, it just bugs out. Which would make a lot more sense.

But to be honest, I don't know. Still isn't worth worrying about it xD.
