im looking to set up my own hamachi server for dekaron for just me and my wife to play on so i can fully understand how to maintain my own server that way ill fully understand what devs and every1 else go through could some 1 help me my os is vista

Windows Virtual PC provides the capability to run multiple Windows environments such as Windows XP Mode from your Windows 7 desktop. To download Windows Virtual PC and the Windows XP Mode environment, please follow the steps below. Windows XP Mode will only run on Windows 7 Professional and Windows 7 Ultimate editions and requires a virtualization engine, such as Windows Virtual PC.
You also won't need Hamachi if you both are just playing at home on your network.
Assign a static IP from your network to the machine you use for the server. Use 127.0.0.1 in the server exe config files, and put the static you assigned above in the clients you play with.
I run three different ones here at my house for testing and for my kids to play on.
