[Urgent] Need help to clean user_character Database

sup guys?! i've got one database that was already in use. so there is there lots and lots of characters created and i want to delete them all.
but if i try to delete it with the query analyser with the DELETE command i have some ongame problems.
when i got my table cleared and run the server, when someone try to create a new char appears one error screen, and if he tries to recreate it it says that the name its already on use.
so what really happens:
1 - i do have one clear user_character database
2 - i cant create new chars at Dekaron Game
3 - the chars that ppl try to create r registered at my database.
i dont understand very well what its happening.

how can i delete all chars without having this troubles?
i hope someone here can help me..

Read what fack said above. You can not delete the [DEV] characters that are in the db.

There is only one of each class. Leave them there and don't touch them.

there are mastercodes for the classes, DO NOT DELETE THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Restore your DB and delete then EXCEPT THE MASTERCODES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
there are more tables with mastercodes DO NOT DELETE THEM !!!!!!

skills, guild, and some others
again DO NOT DELETE THEM !!!!!!

ok, now LISTEN, i DONT WANT to delete them, i already knew that there is master codes in there. what i want to do is to clear the ALREADY CREATED chars on that DB, thats what i want to know, if is there a way to delete this chars WITHOUT deleting those mastercodes.
IS THERE?!

do u know if there is a DB character with NOTHING IN IT?

if i cant delete it, if im going to make one TOP PK, TOP LVL, TOP PVP on a website, how am i going to do it without those chars that already r registered get to appear?
i dont want them to get into the REAL list of chars from my server.
is there a way to?

Yeah. Delete every entry in user_character and just paste the rows with DEV chars then.

im already trying to create a new table for replace it... if there is a faster and better way can u explain it to me?
how i do it on the SQL and Query Analizer?
