[HELP]FIX IP

Hi all
im having problems at my IP FIX
can i use no-ip?
if no, im using my ip of my router 192.168.0.***
but my friends having problems to conect to my server
my router is D-LINK DIR-300
if is not router why all having problem to conect at my server?
thanks(im searched this problems but no solution searching)

if you want some one from outside your house to play they have to connect using your external ip. to obtain your external ip visit here

it will be listed at the very top of the page

then you have to provide anyone outside your house wit a chanlist and login list that uses that ip. also you have to forward all the port in the meny configs for the server to you local ip in your router. to find your local ip click start->run->type in cmd and click ok->type in ipconfig and press enter should be pretty easy to see.

and as far as i know the client will not work with a no-ip address i have tried meny times with no success

Open ports is your router and forward them to the current pc/ip

is your server is running on 192.168.1.104 (like mine)

but my friend conect and in character select dont conect ?

Open port 80.

port 80 is not required....which ports did you forward in your router? you should have forwarded all the ports from the different server configs. if i remeber right 7881-7883,1433 50005 and maybe a few others that ii forget. just check all the configs and forward all ports to your address...

why would he need port 80? it was only used by the very old launcher cause it used a web server to get the rest of it's configuration....

what you need to do to make sure is open the configs files for all server(login,cast,messagner,dekaronserver...) and open all hte ports mentioned in them cuase i don't remeber them all by heart.
