You need to configurate the odbc.

now im getting error. call to undefined function mssql_connect .... line 78 on that script

Go to your php.ini

and change delete the ; from the extension=php_mssql.dll

make it to extension=php_mssql.dll

from ;extension=php_mssql.dll

its the same error even after i deleted the line.

btw on xampp i need to run mysql and apache right ????

You also need to be sure to have the correct version of xampp. If I were you, I would upload the files you are having issues with. Seeing just the errors, wont help as much as seeing the errors and the actual lines.

^This, the latest version of PHP with Xampp does not support mssql_connect. The last version of Xampp to include the required version of PHP is Xampp 1.7.3

You should not be using mssql_connect anyways, start using the newer and more secure PDO classes to connect to mssql from PHP. Or the Microsoft SQL Server Drivers for PHP. |

im using winxp with sql 2k sp4 and xampp 1.7.3 php version is 5.3.1

I made evreything work using the latest xampp using odbc and not mssql or sqlquery

the main reason i DONT give support or help out is that ALL of the problems can be solved using the SEARCH function of GOOGLE
I get the same PM's over and over and over again
