Most default (server) files + exe

Hi,

what are the most default (server) files?
if you dont know what i mean, the files are almost the same as global or have the least (maybe no) modifications

take global and remove all columns :P thats the most default haha
just compare the global folder. with an A2 share folder. remove all extra folders and files it has on global share, that wont be readed by our exes and then start removing columns at the files ^^

so we can take files from global and (somehow) be able to make a server like Rising? or do we need all the data and etc?

Off Topic: You would need the Action 9 server files which are floating around but incomplete for the public, the action 9 database which is also floating around here incomplete , and after fixing various things that require a lot of skill and patients, you may be 1% closer to what rising currently has. So yeah, hoped that helped, *****.

On Topic: I would do what conquer suggested but there is no easy way. Either you take the up-to-date global action 9 client and work hours on end to remove the stuff that wont work for classic action 3 servers, or you can simply look for an action 2-6 global client and add everything in from there. Both ways are very time consuming and not worth it. Servers now a days are so screw balled to the point of which it's almost not even funny anymore.

P.S. It would also be nice to know what action you are looking for in general. Some are harder to find complete and at more of a default point than others.

No action in particular. just a clean client with server
as i heard kingtuts (nemesis) files are working like they should

i think fastest way is removing no needed files and removing columns etc etc. then adding it from A2 to A9 , trust me adding effects on modeleffect/effectdatas and such those **** takes ages xD on an A9 u can just use those all complete and just fix the share. and scripts

True very that. It's a pain in the ***, just to add in a few new simple things. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to add another whole action.

Those Korean, must have a LOT of free time, and I hope they got/get paid very well for their work.

The most basic would probably be the old Chinese a2 (or a3?) client/server installer that's floating around in the depths of these forums.

It has little to no bugs, but its also got a lot of work that you need to do like conq said.

King's would probably be the most recent "basic" client, but still requires a lot of work if you plan on adding all the new content and fixing some of the bugs with the old stuff.

Curious on what this is for o_o... Cause it seems like someone brought a semi off-topic conversation here about A9 stuff and relating it to rising. But, pretty sure I have unedited a9 global files hiding in some folder on my computer.

well, i cant agree with this for 2 reasons 1) i have looked at the files lol, looks like a bucha kids in a sweat shop and not allowed to talk to each other put the csv's together, seems like there was no communication from one person to the next while they were making them and 2) they have the source, sure its hard to add things to the exe's and such for us cus we only see a broken down version of whats being processed, but in the source just the structure of it alone would make things 1000x better on us to add things in, and they seemed to be diligent on commenting the SP's in the database, so i am sure they commented the code in the source which would make the functions and methods much easier to find and edit, not to mention they have a team, knowing koreans its prolly a rather large team.

honestly if an american developer had coded this game, everything would work better, and the csv files would had been written in a way to ensure efficiency, so, sorry but i have to disagree. . . .

Very true, it's sloppy. My only point was, we didn't create it, so therefor I clap for them. If they would have not done it, than where would we really be right now?

~ There would be no Dekaron section on ePvP. Makes me really think about the what if's.

Trust me, I bet we all would be on some other bogus game wasting time, or maybe we would have not even been doing the game scene at all? Who really knows. The first time I played dekaron, was the first time I ever experienced the true greatness that a computer has to offer. Dekaron started me off.

i remember my first times on 2moons lol , compared to all other mmorpg games dekaron was #1 i really tryed like 20 others and they all are **** the gameplay of dekaron is just amazing and easy to play ! without dekaron we would be probly doing better on school XD!haha

Amen to that.

I'm thinking of striping the global client down as I'm in the procrastinating stage and i don't want to write an essay. ^^. If i ever finish it i will upload it and maybe add up to A12/13 (them new weapons)

Alternatively i might strip down the kr test client, but that will require translations.. decisions decisions...
