Question about Dekaron Updater

Good evening ePVPers community,

First of all:
I have used Google and i searched 3 days for it.

I need to know what i have to Upload to my webspace if i will use the Updater, used by EG-Dekaron or other Private Servers.

I know i have to insert my "IP" in this file:
"Update.ini"

<Section1>	
IP		patch.eterniagames.com
path		/update
username	anonymous
pw		""
portNumber	80
type		http
TestServer	false
</Section>	

<Section2>	
IP		patch.eterniagames.com
path		/update
username	anonymous
pw		""
portNumber	80
type		http
TestServer	false

But if i try to start with my IP, it say "Connecting..." but nothig more.

Please Post your answer below if you know what i have to Upload.



Second question:

Does this Updater works for data.pak or for "open-file-directorys"?
Or doesnt make this any differences?

Thanks much for the fast help,

it makes updates now.

But now the question:

I use a data.pak, and i write an div file which includes the files:

data/share/loginlist.csv
data/share/channellist.csv
data/texture/ui/game/loading/credit_001.dds

i added the dds file, that i can fast recognice if the client is updatet.

Ok, know use the updater, start the client... but the dds is the same.

What i have done wrong?

Can u post a little tutorial "How to create a .DIV package"?

I found the Probem in an other post:

have to create folder:

DATA/DATA/*whatever i want to have*

for example:

DATA/DATA/share/loginlist.csv

and then i have to target the first DATA folder with the div-creator and it works fine =)

I realize this is an extremely old thread, but after downloading/scanning this file, I found out that webman.exe is infected.


So I figured I would put a warning up so no one ends up infected.

So anyone who comes across this post, use the webman on instead.
