Help with server[With sergs server pack]

Hello,
I've been trying to get a server going for a few days, I get sql installed and the datebase in, then I go in the query browser and do the thing, (lol) the change config files and run ? but it says udp error of something ?
Help!?!

1: Make sure u have atleast a dual core CPU and 2-4GB ram
2: Turn off firewall
3: Add sql to ODBC
4: Check all the IPs for any mistake
5: Try again

Well, you need that much ram :O lol .. Hmmmmmm, like what it is, I get the mysql installed put the datebases in, then when I go to query browser, it dosent say my server, it says dot. I look for my server not there?:S so then I just logged into dot, did the thing with the query browser. Went to change my ip's (I tried hamachi and my ip) then I ran the dbon. kept saying udp packet sent, then error something ,I started running the cast server,messanger and everything :S

I dont think this is the problem, but use 127.0.0.1 as IP.
