New Posting Rules... (My Opinion)..

I believe this should be stickied.

1. Do not post a New Topic unless you have not put in enough time trying to figure it out.

2. When you post, be DESCRIPTIVE. If it takes you 3 hours to make a post, and attempt to better your English, that's more than acceptable.

3. Use Google to Search for Answers dealing with MSSQL 2000. Some of us don't even use MSSQL 2000.
(I personally use Server 2008 + SQL 2008).

4. If you can, put images with your post that you need help with.


A lot of the questions that people are asking now, can be easily fixed if people actually tried to do it themselves. Almost everyone on this forum expects other people to do the work they want. First off, I'm going to tell you to **** off if you ask me to do something without putting in enough time trying to figure it out yourself. ~trane~ & Mastershouter have warned me twice for my abusive language and behavior. They can warn me another 1000x, I'm not going to change how I feel because someones illiterate. If they have the Internet, they're literate enough to learn how to use English. They have enough brains to figure out how to create an email, and sign up on a Forum. Anyways, I'm glad to help. Don't bash my response if I'm wrong, I'm only human. We make mistakes.


I honestly, think this should be stickied, or added to the rules. I'm tired of people encouraging noobs to post useless and retarded topics..

The above sentence, is annoying as ****, and will not be tolerated by me. I know other people on here agree with this.

The problem is, you cannot check, if the people really spent time into the matter. But the rules you wrote, are good. I completely agree with you.

Perhaps you have to force new people into reading sticky/rules threads. That they are not able to write posts until they read the sticky/rules threads.

This is a vBulletin Forum. I'm very sure, you (the mods or admins) can do something like that
You "only" have to create a forum rule, script or what else (programming, not a written rule to read ), that the user have to read the chosen threads before they can write threads/posts.

Very Simple example to show you what I mean:

Or you could have like a hidden word or something, that you have to type in down the bottom, hidden within the sticky, hence forcing them to.. 'read' it. Or atleast skim through and get the general idea. Dunno if it's possible.

Th3ese kind of probs u will find in every forum.

In a forum everybody can ask questions, even if the answer is already given in another thread.
Sure everybody should use the search button but if he doesnt, we cant do anything against it.

So just ignore that kind of posts or help the ppl out.
I know its sometimes really getting on nerves to read same questions over and over again, but that will always happen, coz everyday new ppl come to the board or to the game.

So just get over it or help out.

The problem is

1) if u realy force the ppls to read the Rules i dun realy think that a few sentence will block the comand *Brain:\\pc\elitepvper\open_a_useless_threat_with_ small_question*

2)A perfect english is not nessesay, but a good english should be possible fully agree with u ADH

i don't understand why ppls don't recognise that Argate hacks won't be released

--->Db
--->Session server etc
Open a Sticky for it where evrybody can post his questions about that
other threads with short questions about Slq etc just delte it

5)I registered my firt accound here relay long time ago and the board was mhh nice more helpfull not that much arrogant like now(my opinion atm)
ppls keep the good way to speak and be frindly and not that much bully if ppls ask *NORMAL* question's

the problem is... if you write in a sticky thread, no *** will answer. look at tomiks thread or in silkbotters. both sticky and a lot of questions but nearly no of them got answered
