Hi so i am public today my C# program.

***You Need To Enable Remote Connetion From SQL Server***

READ FIRST:

-- you need to create a .txt file and put the indexs from all your items.csv...
Exapmle :
itemetc.csv:

3171	Santa's Hat	0	5	0	0	1280	33	1000-0000-0000-0000-0000-0000-0000-0000	1500	0	1	1	5	2	2	0	0	1	1	0	0	15	35	50	3	2	1	6481	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	0	1	0	0

So i add to the "item.txt" the line 3171 Santa's Hat 1.
basicly you can add anything you wnat to the line but each line MUST contians the item index at start!!!!
Syntax for line:
ItemIndex ItemName ItemLevel ItemClass ......

save the files as "Item.txt" and put in the same folder as the .exe

Why don't you just parse the csv files instead of having people save them into a single large .txt file? It would be much easier for people to use if they could just drop this in their item folder and it will auto-parse all csv files there, or let the user select the location of their item folder so they can run the app from anywhere.

This is what i was thinking.

Kinda looks like a stripped version of Enterprise Manager.

Think you could convert a copy to .net framework 3.0?

personally i think connecting to the database remotely is a bad thing, opens up all kinds of threats and security issues that i wont even begin to start scaring ppl with, but those of you who have a brain know where im going with this.

you should find a better way to access the information you need from the database without opening it up to every **** hurt hacker so they can rape you, just my opinion.

If you really want it in 3.0 and since he wont do it, you can just decompile it and then recompile as 3.0 if you have a restriction. C# applications are simple to decompile, lots of free tools too.

Why complain about this? it is free for crying out loud use it or dont.
I for one say ty for this since atleast one in here is still providing free tools for you all to help you manage the serve much easier (:
