Hi,i need help in another error to fix

DATABASE_ADDRESS = 5.158.108.106,1433 <<<this is my ip,with that port
DATABASE_DATABASE = CHARACTER
DATABASE_ACCOUNT = sa <<<this is my sa login name,should i use that?
DATABASE_PASSWORD = **** <<<<this is my sa password,didnt show it ^^

my sql server is on,the name is barak957,when i look at the sql server service manager it says the server name is GIGABYTE\BARAK957

i get an error while i open session server with dbmon and all the others,the error is on the dbmon:
6812:Session Server Ready
6812:>>CRITICAL ERROR :SP_LOGIN_FLAG_SET_PROC CALL FAIL

right after all this is written in the dbmon,Session Server crashes.

and ive tried everything,im sitting some hours trying to figure out what's wrong but i cant...so im asking for a hand

please,if u find anything wrong with my config please tell me...some ppl are telling me to use the sql server name and some are telling me to use sa and sa password...i dont know what to do

any help will be thanked alot

if iam right, you need to put your database account and pass in.

so youre right...but iam not sure..i havent set up my own pserver yet

ok. when you opened Session Server. It crashed right? Did you try to turn off your firewall and run the server ?

With that asked;

Do you have a router? If you have a router, it might give you a little more problems. MSSQL doesn't like routers. I had a hell of a time getting mine to work. Anyways, if you have a router. Post your router make, model, and firmware version. I'll see if I can't help you get a bypass going, IF you have one.

i have a router. i see that officeconnect wireless 11g cable/dsl router is written on it,i dont know if this helps maker is 3com,i think,cuz its written on it too

EDIT: my firewall is off,ive noticed that nod32 is doing some trouble so i deleted that too...

Didn't need to disable it. Just needed it to allow active connections.


Suncabal, I got to thinking. Would it help if he enabled DMZ Host? I think it might, but I haven't messed with DMZ for awhile.
