Dekaron Evolution - Explanation

I post this here, because I assume that the other place I posted it will have it removed shortly, but here is a quote of my resignation as Head GM and Moderator.

With much sadness, I feel I must resign from Dekaron Evolution as Moderator and Head GM (I was [GM]Sandwitch, for those who didn't know).

I would like to explain to the players what happened to cause this before I leave.
It started with a small issue, Ike's PayPal account got frozen and locked for a period of time, meaning the money in it could not be split between Ike and Zirak until later, this caused initial issues.
The next issue was that around the same amount of money got locked in one of Zirak's accounts, and PayPal continually said they would send Zirak the money, and never did (according to Zirak). Ike then took the next amount of money (equal to that Zirak was yet to recieve) because Zirak would, in theory, recieve that amount of money, assuming PayPal doesn't steal people's money.
This caused major trust issues between Ike and Zirak.

At a later time Ike was asking Zirak about what he was doing, as he hadn't talked to him in quite a while, and poorly worded a message to Zirak saying something along the lines of 'Why haven't you been responding to my messages, if you have quit then I will have to start reconfiguring permissions, so let me know'. Zirak took this to mean that Ike was trying to kick Zirak out of the server, so, one day, Zirak completely locked Ike out of the server and he has changed all of Ike's post to his, against his will.

Zirak claims he did so and planned never to touch it again, until he saw comments on DKE facebook of you guys and how you miss the server, but true intentions can never be known by any other than Zirak.

Zirak and Ike had serious issues to sort out, but I do not feel the correct thing to do, was to shut down and userp the server, which is why I spent quite some time writing out an agreement which would have fixed both Ike's and Zirak's problems and restored the server to propper working order, but Zirak declined, saying that Ike was no longer nessecary.

As I disagree with the fight and methods used, I can not ethically work for DKE under Zirak. I hope others feel the same way, but it's entirely your decision.
How the server will work without Ike and the rest of our GM team, I don't know.

It was nice working with all of you, I wish you, Zirak, server, and the players the best of luck.

I really want to write a novel on this but im not.

The reason the server is down right now is because of zirak, ike really isnt the bad guy here.

As much as zirak will try to play it off like ike had no significance in the communty, ike had a big part as far as im concerned. Ike is a fun guy to be around, he cares about the community, he gets **** done 1 way or the other (even if zirak is right with saying ike doesnt actually do much) **** still gets put in updates.

Zirak has failed to actually show concern for the dekaron community and doesnt come out and talk to any of us. After the WHOLE time of evo being up and not being an active participant in the community he expects to be able to take over, claim all the money, and keep the server alive.

I will not follow or stay with someone who is only looking for money.

Im out of evo as a gm. I had fun with everyone, including the ones who didnt/dont like me. Everyone may see me sooner than later with another server, but who knows. All i suggest is that whoever stays with zirak's version of evo is comfortable with giving money to a greedy kid.

The staff is quitting since they were originally hired by Ike.

They only saw one side of the story (Ike's side) and before seeing the other side two GM's decided to quit (alongside the head GM).

iCold and I saw your side.

Your side is just about the same as I described it there, only yours has unprovable speculation about Ike's motives. Ditto with Ike's side.

I presented it as impartially as I could, and presented my judgement on the situation.

Zirak is keeping DKE. I assume hes keeping it the same unless he wants to change all the logos and ****.

As for what Ike will be doing, I'm not sure, but I guess we'll see.

well not that i really care, cus evo sucked either way, but to say Ike got **** done is kinda funny considering everyone here knows if it wasnt for zirak, there would had nvr been evolution, im sure Ike edited some csv files, prolly some UI files too, but zirak apparently got alot of **** done as well

and everyone here is right, both zirak and ike are ******** for spending a majority of their time away from their friends, family, etc, how dare they want compensated for it, i mean, what? all the ********, whining, complaining, insults, not to mention the hackers, ********, etc isnt payment enuff for them?? wtf, PFTTTT i cant believe they would rather have money . . . .

I lol'd at the first post. I've heard many stories about Ike a.k.a Han.

Personally, what do you expect when working with a 16 year old. I've not heard good things about him and how he tries labeling others as the culprit. A friend of mine, had first hand experience of his BS.

Personally from what I've seen Zirak was responsible for majority of any major server development there, and Ike is just an over-glorified brat taking credit for other peoples work.

Oh well, life goes on.

Idc whos the *******, i just know that evolution wont exist without Zirak and his knowledge about exe editing..so thx Zirak to keep evolution live.

Simple question, is this topic going anywhere? Will this change anything?
You're just going to complain how one of those two is the good guy, and the other one is not. (In which case I'll just close this thread because this is simply unnecessary.) I could be wrong, feel free to correct me.

The goal was to explain to the Evolution players what actually happened, seeming that job is done you may feel free to lock it.
