I have problem with modifying rates in data.pak i want to give 10 stats per level,so i relplaced byStatPointPerLevel ,5 with byStatPointPerLevel ,10.Its more digit,so winhex need to add 1 more byte,but if i do this client crashes.Someone know how to fix it,or its other way here how to do it?For example some china,taiwan or usa folder?
Yeah its give me 10 points if i edit on server side only,but in game it give 5 atm and rest of points after i relog,so its not very good...

Well i found a way how to do it..... open data.pak with darkinc unpacker,than delete data.pak
and in extracted folders you can edit it easily.

Still getting this access denied error while startingh the server even with sp4

but i can access with query analyser at least on localhost (on my vm)

i can open query on local now but wen i get to the part of clicking dbmon debug monitor it says not associated with a trusted sql connection zzzz ive been trying 2 fix this 4 hours it 5 am now o_O im to sleepy to finish does ne 1 have ne idea y it says that ??

Hello guys I have a little problem:

I made all steps..and now wanted to test it...
First I started dbmon.exe...all good... than I started CastServer[1.26.0].exe.
My cmd tell me :
Cast server started
SP_GUILD_SERVERID_SET SUCCESS
ok all good..and now...the LoginServer.exe...cmd tell me:

Japan GameChu login module loading fail...
<----------Login Server Started--------->

now MsgServer[1.3.0].exe...cmd tell me:
MsgServer Started...I think its okay..
now SessionServer[1.22.0].exe...cmd tell me:
Session Server Ready
Provider::Execute (CChar*szName)

hehe yeah i did from your posted source. And after that i installed this : SQL2000.AS-KB884525-SP4-x86-ENU.exe !

In which application do u have that about window? In the entprice manager is only for that application and not for the server. I cant find it

Edit: WTF this seems only for analysis services ... rofl isnt the sp4 free ? o.O

Edit2: WTF² link is on the same page a bit below ^^ why they put it under that as file o.O

I got a new Problem....I managed all server things...now wanted to connect...ran the p-server connector.exe...took my server and started...till the loading screen got 65,9% all was good...than at 65,9% it trows me out of the game ...back to the p-server connector.exe... any idea??
