SX client and Dekaron-Extreme

Well i got my hands on the sx client , quick search its out there.
Hit up winhex grabbed all the info changed the channellist.csv and loginlist.csv.
I copied over

history.config
launcher.config
launcher.msg
server.config
update.ini
url.config
user.config
user.config
version.txt

then i went into the bin folder and copied over

option.txt
pet.txt
protect.msg
dekaroncn.ini
dekaroncntest.ini
server.config

i was getting a cannot connect to server at this point.
well in chinese.

i went ahead and get an english patch, made no difference except error msg was in english.

so i took the english patch out and i put a straight forward vac in it.
and then i went and replaced

data.hd
data.pak

this got me as far as logging in,making a char.
But when i hit connect i just got a "The client version does not match"

which i dont get, the only reason i can think of is that the .exe is modified which would bring up the question what needs adding to the SX clients exe file.

I also tried putting the CheckList.IAT file in the folder to see if it MIGHT help but no that failed also.

I have some questions after all this which could provide a solution once answered.
ONE: Do i have to bring up the coding from the server-extreme.exe which relates to the CheckList.IAT and add that to the SX clients exe?

TWO: What folder name does the DEkaron-extreme client use in comparison to the USA folder and 2moons, my initital guess is china.

and i go blank after this point.
Any suggestions or should i just give up.

I'll say it in the simplest way possible.
You CANNOT use the SX Client with DKExtreme :]

If you open up data.pak in WinHex and search [Init], it'll show the localedefine...china/usa/taiwan or something. That localedefine is the folder it'll read from. DKExtreme removed the localedefine :[

Don't try it with english patch yet, and why did you copy there history.cfg etc? You just extract the stuff from sx.rar to EMPTY folder, change loginlist a channelList IPs and start that launcher found in sx.rar ...

for like the server names and stuff, since the server names like hinata and dante etcc.. arent located in the csv's.and the english patch was only for the client,since it was all chinese i thought it was causing problems since the server is english.

Sx client won't work with dekaron extreme. The enD.

You could make a winhex script for the files you know that are in the dekaron extreme data.pak, which make it the version it is.

Although, we don't exactly know what is patched with the updates, so tough luck.

Well the extreme client is a bit tricky since its half BMR and half expedition.So the sx clients data.pak wouldnt work im assuming with dekaron extreme.

The version issue would already be sorted by me copying over the data.pak.

But there must be somekind of check in the extreme exe file.Now if the version information could be extracted and added into the sx clients exe i would assume that would be the fix.

It might also be something to do with the IAT file there might be a version check in there and since its not being created by the sx client then the information isnt being sent to the server thus resulting with the client version error.

and the reason for those two files is so that the sx client can connect to the server, but with the data.pak being replaced i dont think there is any need for those two either.

Not sure if this will help you but in your main client folder there is a file called version.txt,
that file must match your version.ini file in your server / share folder. I ran into this the other day while mix matching around. Both files contain the client and server version and they must match each other.
