You don't need to study C++ to understand whats going on inside the executable. Sure it might help you understand how the stack works etc. But its not like knowing C++ is the same as knowing assembly. There is a huge difference between source code, and compiled code. As after its passed through a compiler its completely changed (usually straight to machine code).
